In MLA style, an in-text citation gives the author's last name and the page number in parentheses, with no comma between them: (Ramos 45). It goes after the closing quotation mark and before the period. For example: A honeybee may visit "thousands of flowers in a single day" (Ramos 45). If you name the author in your sentence, the parentheses need only the page: Ramos notes that a hive "works like one large body" (52). Every source you cite must appear in the Works Cited list.

Next: I with your right middle finger + left Shift (left pinky)

Tip: Citations

Citations end with a parenthesis and then a period, like (Ramos 45). Type them slowly at first; the order matters.
