Should students learn to spot fake news in every class? Yes. In a 2016 Stanford study, more than 80% of middle school students believed an ad marked "sponsored content" was a real news story. Schools can fix that. Teachers in any subject can show students how to check a source (who made it, when and why) and how to compare it with others. Some say there's no time, but a 10-minute check fits almost anywhere. For tips, email help@library.example.org or visit https://library.example.org/fact-check.
